Ik heb meerdere artikelen geplaatst, die na een paar dagen rankten en waar al redelijk verkeer op zat. Ik zag de artikelen ook gewoon in de index staan.
Nadat het update is gestart verdwijnen meer en meer URL's en artikelen uit de index.

Ben ik nu de enigste of hebben jullie daar ook last van?

Dit is nu aan de gang zag ik.

En daar staat bij, misschien heb je er iets aan.



While Google's automated systems to detect search spam are constantly operating, we occasionally make notable improvements to how they work. When we do, we refer to this as a spam update and share when they happen on our list of Google Search ranking updates.


For example, SpamBrain is our AI-based spam-prevention system. From time-to-time, we improve that system to make it better at spotting spam and to help ensure it catches new types of spam.


Sites that see a change after a spam update should review our spam policies to ensure they are complying with those. Sites that violate our policies may rank lower in results or not appear in results at all. Making changes may help a site improve if our automated systems learn over a period of months that the site complies with our spam policies.


In the case of a link spam update (an update that specifically deals with link spam), making changes might not generate an improvement. This is because when our systems remove the effects spammy links may have, any ranking benefit the links may have previously generated for your site is lost. Any potential ranking benefits generated by those links cannot be regained.

Dat komt de laatste jaren al vaker voor. Het heeft in veel gevallen te maken met de kwaliteit van de content (YMYL, EEAT, Helpful Content, Needs Met etc).

Normale ein uitgebreide content, plotseling is het artikel weer geïndexeerd maar de positie in Google volledig weg. Zal je even een pb met voorbeeld sturen.

Je kan uitsluiten dat het een technisch probleem is als je de url met Search Console kan inspecteren en er geen issues zijn. Contentkwaliteit is waarschijnlijk de oorzaak. Gary Illyes heeft hierover een keer dit gezegd:

Q: a page on my site keeps disappearing from search, but reappears when i submit to indexing in webmaster tools. Why?

A: the page is likely very close to, but still above the quality threshold below which Google doesn't index pages.

Normale ein uitgebreide content, plotseling is het artikel weer geïndexeerd maar de positie in Google volledig weg. Zal je even een pb met voorbeeld sturen.

Om het heel kort samen te vatten: er mankeert inderdaad eea aan de content, mbt YMYL en EEAT. Meer diepgang, bronvermelding, disclaimer, betere bio etc, en bepaalde gezondheidsclaims kunnen beter achterwege blijven. Matthias heeft hier al uitgebreid antwoord per PB over gekregen.

Of met de autoriteit van de pagina. Ik had ook een pagina die organisch verkeer realiseerde die plots uit de Google index weg is.
Soms maakt het google algoritme vreemde conclusie en ook het algoritme is niet 100% correct.
Als je blijft investeren in kwalitatieve, interessante info en werkt aan autoriteit komt het meestal op lange termijn wel goed.
