Al een tijdje gebruik ik Open Link Profiler (www.openlinkprofiler.org) om mijn backlinks te controleren. Hier krijg ik ook wekelijks een mailtje van met de nieuwste backlinks. Nu is het zo dat ik nieuwe websites ontwikkel en zodoende links plaats naar andere websites. Echter is de Risk Factor iedere keer erg hoog (50% of hoger). Wie weet waar die waarde op wordt gebaseerd?

Dit staat er in de FAQ maar zegt heel weinig:

A high risk score does not necessarily mean that the linking website is spam. The risk-score is based on a variety of factors. It might be that the website is good but the page is problematic. It can also be that the page is good and the individual link is problematic (for example because it's a paid link).

Ik ben van mening dat je het beste gewoon je nuchtere "boerenverstand" kunt gebruiken. Kijk of de content niet spammy is, of de linkpartner geen spammy linkprofiel heeft etc. Als jij zelf vindt dat het een website is waar de bezoeker iets aan heeft, en waar bij de backlinks naast de niet te vermijden startpaginaklonen ook voldoende links van redelijke goede sites bij zitten, en de link naar jouw site niet op een pagina komt waar het al stikt van duidelijk op SEO gerichte links: gewoon doen!

Bedankt voor je reactie. Dat is inderdaad allemaal niet aan de orde. Vind het alleen opvallend dat een tool een website die met veel zorg is samengesteld (en waar niks aan mankeert) toch zo beoordeelt.
