Op mijn vps staat clamav en freshclam geinstalleerd. Wanneer ik in de console freshclam wil updaten krijg ik onderstaande meldingen. Heb in het config bestand ook ingesteld dat er dagelijks automatische update moet plaatsvinden en zie in de logfiles dat dat niet lukt, zelfde foutmeldingen als wanneer ik handmatig probeer te updaten. Ben geen linux genie, sinds enkele dagen ermee bezig en probeer gaande weg te leren.


Kan iemand mij opweg helpen?

It’s not your lucky day. Freshclam tried every possible way to download the updates but failed. Usually this means that all the mirrors in your local pool are down or not synchronized, or something really nasty happened. Please wait a few minutes and try again. Remember to pass the -v option to freshclam. It is also possible that you recently had a prolonged network outage and freshclam blacklisted all the mirrors: remove mirrors.dat from the DatabaseDirectory and try again. If the problem persists, check the mirror status page and perhaps send the output of freshclam -v to mirror-admin at clamav dot net.

Heb dat ook gezien en vervolgens in de config file een aantal serveradressen ingevuld die volgens de status pagina up zijn en dan nog blijf ik dezelfde foutmelding krijgen.

Wie kan tegen een kleine vergoeding naar het probleem kijken voor me, graag even per pm reageren en dan komen we er samen wel uit.
