This company was founded in the spring of 2010 during the Minor Entrepreneurship at the University ofAmsterdam. Three months earlier the Dutch tax authorities announced that paper receipts can be filed digitallyin the companies administration. The idea to make the devious and expensive paper expense reporting processinto a nice and online process was born. Smartphones became more and more common and this made theproposition of the company even more attractive.
This company offers a modern and easy solution to companies for processing expenses of employees. Thecombination of a mobile app and a web-based system turns managing expenses into an efficient andstraightforward process. Employees can simply take a picture of their receipts and submit this to theirsupervisor from any location using the mobile app. Physical handling and archiving of the receipts isunnecessary, because they are stored on secure servers. Tax authorities already approve of this procedure.Eventually it integrates with financial software to automatically process all expenses.


Your job: Backend Developer
This company is looking for a backend developer who can help them with maintaining and expanding theirwebsystem (= API and webapp). You will be responsible for new features, bugs, export formats, adjustmentsand possibly server maintenance. Depending on your knowledge you can fit this to your interests. Along theway you will be focusing more and more on a few parts of our system so that you can excel in this!
