Internship Online Marketing Analytics
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

We're looking for an intern that is passionate and excited about web analytics. You will be an integral part of a small team and assist marketing and product development with data on web visitors, conversions funnels, product usage and the relationship between them. This is an ideal internship for a total data geek who wants to be part of a small team and wants to learn what it’s like to work at a startup. While we work hard, there is also room for fun and we serve great lunches!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts
  • Analyze advertising impressions, click-through, and conversions
  • Conduct detailed customer intelligence and ROI analysis
  • Design and manage multivariate A/B tests
  • Interpret data and synthesize information from variety of sources and translate into effective and actionable plans
  • Create, monitor, track & report appropriate web metrics on a regular basis
  • Support ad-hoc analytical requests for information from different business units such as Marketing / Product


Desired Skills & Requirements
Passion for web marketing and a strong understanding of how the web works - for example, browsing behavior, web server cashing, cookie deletion, etc.

Studying related field with a strong quantitative focus (economics, engineering, finance, statistics or other analytically-oriented discipline)

Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Experience with Google Analytics and other web tracking software preferred
Knowledge of web site design and its impact on the customer experience.
We operate in an international team so a proficient level of English would be helpful
